Dear Friends and Partners in Christ,

These past few weeks have been nothing short of a whirlwind for Christian Union staff at Princeton. It seems like just yesterday that the returning students in our ministry crowded the parking lot at the University Store for the annual Princeton Faith and Action Pre-Retreat. Everyone came back from their summer adventures eager to reconnect with friends and to kick-start the year with worship, prayer and fellowship. It was a great start to the ministry year indeed!

We all returned to Princeton with a desire to meet new students and to invite them to get plugged into Bible courses. We have been pleasantly surprised to see how many students expressed interest in joining a group, and how willing so many of those students were to open up with us about their journey to Princeton, their beliefs and their struggles and joys in life. We are also so happy to see how eager the students are to study the Bible with their ministry fellows and their peers.

The season of gathering freshmen is now coming to a close, and we are beginning to adjust to our normal ministry cycle. We have already begun meeting students for one-on-one mentoring, meeting for corporate prayer every afternoon, meeting student leaders to coach them in their leadership roles and getting together with students for weekly Bible course sessions. This semester, we are studying the book of Hebrews and encouraging one another through the study to think deeply about Jesus, draw near to Jesus, and hold fast to Jesus.

We are so grateful for what God has already done this semester and are so excited to see the ways He will continue to work. Thank you so much for your continual prayers and support to us and our students.
